I am doing clearances for a feature film and want to use several images they downloaded from the internet. I have found these same photos on multiple websites, maybe even up to 10 websites with the same photographs. They do not have a copyright symbol on them. What are the chances this is fair use if they seem impossible to license? I have emailed a couple of the websites, but have not heard back from them. Thanks for any help with this. Really appreciate it. Debbie

I agree that it’s good to use your own images for your safety and branding as well. I am also thankful for sites like Pixabay ( good thing you mention it) because they offer many great photos. Well, I am not a photographer.

Thanks for sharing info especially about “fair use.” it’s easy to understand than the other materials I read before. You know jargon and highfalutin words.
