If so it would be great to hear any advice as we are thinking of making the switch from Salesforce.

I was also impressed with Close.io and ultimately chose it a year ago to power my sales team.

One thing I think Close.io lacks that Salesforce (and others) have in spades, are integrations with 3rd party apps.

But with Close.io’s documented API, I see a lot of opportunity for growth in 3rd party vendors that integrate with Close.io.

One thing I built and turned into a product is DripEmails.com, a way to use Close.io’s email templates and put leads in an automatic sequence.

Another service that launched an tight integration with Close.io, is Clearbit. Where they append lead data captured from public sources into custom fields. Data like links for a company’s social media profiles, the number of employees they have, what industry, etc.

Hopefully we’ll see more developers and business spring up around Close.io.

It will be exciting to see how the HubSpot offering fills out in the coming months. There were a couple of email automation features your team showed that are going to be fantastic when they come out of beta.
