Every time \u201cJoe\u201d posts, his content is shared, liked and receives more comments than almost any of my connections, daily.<\/p>\n<p>The other day, another friend of mine&#8211;who has a large number of connections&#8211;shared the same video, on the same day, as Joe.<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, perhaps not so surprisingly, Joe got six times the <a title=\"Social Engagement Metrics - the Moz Blog\" href=\"http:\/\/moz.com\/blog\/social-engagement-metrics-that-matter\" target=\"_blank\">social engagement<\/a> with the same content.<\/p>\n<p>Is Joe a better human being, more worthy of engagement?\u00a0 Not in my real world experience&#8211;both are decent people.<\/p>\n<p>But Joe has developed a higher social IQ.<\/p>\n<h2>How high is your Social IQ?<\/h2>\n<p>Your social IQ, or <a title=\"Social IQ Scoring System \" href=\"https:\/\/www.rivaliq.com\/blog\/rri-social-media-rankings\/\" target=\"_blank\">social influence quotient<\/a>, refers to how substantial your online presence, network and impact is and&#8211;most importantly&#8211;how that drives action.<\/p>\n<p>Social IQ is about building a powerful and <a title=\"Building Facebook Engagement\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rivaliq.com\/blog\/improve-facebook-engagement\/\" target=\"_blank\">deeply engaged network<\/a> across multiple platforms. The commenter offered additional value and greatly increased his influcence by doing so.<\/p>\n<h2>Question 8: Do\u00a0you know why you\u2019re using each platform<\/h2>\n<h5>A. We know we need a presence fast, and we\u2019re focusing on the main social media sites.<\/h5>\n<h5>B. Yes, it\u2019s part of our well-defined and mapped strategy.<\/h5>\n<h5>C. But that\u2019s key to becoming a social influencer. And the content that you provide must be meaningful.<\/p>\n<p>If you know you can find that content somewhere else, that it doesn\u2019t make your connections more educated, inspired, interested, motivated for having interacted with it, then your focus should be on curating native content that does so.<\/p>\n<p>Social influencers have a high level of authority in their field.
