PostPlanner provides you with proven successful content you can just click on \u201cShare this Link\u201d to post it as well as gives you Status Ideas, Viral Photos and Trending Content. \u00a0You can try before you buy with their free trial, and you can even play with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.postplanner.com\/app-features\/facebook-status-ideas-engine\/\">PostPlanner Status Ideas Engine<\/a> to see some of the fun posts they create around questions, branding, entertainment, etc.<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rivaliq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/hootsuite_logo_3581.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-2619\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rivaliq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/hootsuite_logo_3581-300x69.gif\" alt=\"hootsuite_logo_3581\" width=\"300\" height=\"69\" \/><\/a>2. \u00a0<a title=\"Hootsuite Social Media Management\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hootsuite.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hootsuite:<\/a> Find, schedule &amp; manage content<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">There are a lot of competing tools out there for Twitter, but I love Hootsuite. \u00a0And for a start-up, it\u2019s affordable. I find some of the other enterprise tools are not only tens of thousands of dollars per year but incredibly complex. \u00a0I am one of those users that does not watch videos or take tutorials but just plays with a new app until I figure it out. \u00a0If it takes me too long to figure out, I\u2019m gone. \u00a0While Hootsuite has some rich capabilities, I was literally set up, sending invites to people I wanted in my organization and team, adding social networks and new streams in a matter of minutes. \u00a0One of my favorite aspects of Hootsuite is the scheduling tool, where I can see all my team\u2019s scheduled tweets. \u00a0I also like creating specific streams around search terms so I can track top content in areas like social media, content marketing, digital marketing, etc. \u00a0The only thing I don\u2019t really like is how Hootsuite creates a second link for images, so your tweets end up having two links. \u00a0Confusing IMO. \u00a0I will admit also I am only using Hootsuite for Twitter right now, so I\u201dm sure I am only touching the surface of their capability.<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rivaliq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/buffer-logo.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-2620\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rivaliq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/buffer-logo-300x89.jpg\" alt=\"Buffer\" width=\"300\" height=\"89\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rivaliq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/buffer-logo-300x89.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.rivaliq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/buffer-logo-100x30.jpg 100w, https:\/\/www.rivaliq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/buffer-logo.jpg 430w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>3. <a title=\"Buffer Social Media Content\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bufferapp.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Buffer:<\/a>\u00a0Easy to schedule and queue suggested content<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">We also love Buffer, because of great content recommendations that always seems to get strong engagement. \u00a0Their scheduling tool also is easy and helpful in making sure you post at a certain frequency or certain times of the day. Buffer does not have the dashboard view that Hootsuite does, but we tend to love their content recommendations.<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rivaliq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/Google-Alerts-logo.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-2621\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rivaliq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/Google-Alerts-logo-300x112.jpg\" alt=\"Google Alerts logo\" width=\"300\" height=\"112\" \/><\/a>4. \u00a0<a title=\"Google Alerts Content\" href=\"http:\/\/google.com\/alerts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Google Alerts:<\/a>\u00a0News &amp; info in your inbox<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Okay, it\u2019s old school, but I still use it. \u00a0I love setting up alerts for key companies and topics. \u00a0While there is sometimes crap content included in these alerts, oftentimes it\u2019s a goldmine of nuggets about what\u2019s happening in your market. \u00a0It\u2019s also smart to set up one for your own company in case something happens online that you weren\u2019t expecting. \u00a0And it\u2019s so easy to set up. One issue can be email overload, so be sure to make the settings work for you and your email habits.<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rivaliq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/logo-linkedin.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-2022\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rivaliq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/logo-linkedin-300x84.png\" alt=\"LinkedIn\" width=\"300\" height=\"84\" \/><\/a>5. \u00a0<a title=\"LinkedIn Groups\" href=\"http:\/\/www.linkedin.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">LinkedIn Groups<\/a>: discussions, content &amp; updates<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">While again sometimes the emails can be a bit too much, I love a lot of the content that comes in from the LinkedIn groups of which I am a member. \u00a0My favorite groups, and the content\/news that comes from them, include <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/groups\/Social-Media-Marketing-66325?gid=66325&amp;trk=vsrp_groups_res_name&amp;trkInfo=VSRPsearchId%3A54951361406817380926%2CVSRPtargetId%3A66325%2CVSRPcmpt%3Aprimary\">Social Media Marketing<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/groups?gid=62352&amp;trk=vsrp_groups_res_name&amp;trkInfo=VSRPsearchId%3A54951361406817425431%2CVSRPtargetId%3A62352%2CVSRPcmpt%3Aprimary\">Digital Marketing<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/groups\/Chief-Marketing-Officer-CMO-Network-51822?gid=51822&amp;trk=vsrp_groups_res_name&amp;trkInfo=VSRPsearchId%3A54951361406817462972%2CVSRPtargetId%3A51822%2CVSRPcmpt%3Aprimary\">Chief Marketing Officer Network<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/groups\/On-Startups-Community-Entrepreneurs-2877?gid=2877&amp;goback=%2Enpv_5495136_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_*1_nav*4responsive*4tab*4profile_*1&amp;trk=prof-groups-membership-name\">On Startups<\/a>. \u00a0If you have not joined groups relevant to your job or interests, do so today, and then you can decide how to manage news and updates from those groups.<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rivaliq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/B2C-logo.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-2624\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rivaliq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/B2C-logo-300x130.jpg\" alt=\"Business2Community\" width=\"300\" height=\"130\" \/><\/a>6. <a title=\"Business2Community Newsletter\" href=\"http:\/\/www.business2community.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Business2Community Newsletter<\/a>: blogs &amp; articles to share<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">I subscribe to a lot of great newsletters, but I find the B2C one packed with great blogs and other content perfect for sharing on social media. \u00a0They have a vibrant guest blogger community, and they are clear on their target audience and what those readers want to learn or read about. \u00a0I do receive other newsletters that I also enjoy, including searchBusinessAnalytics (a TechTarget site), but B2C is a best practice!<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>What do you use to help you create great social media content?<\/strong> \u00a0Let me know here or via twitter @seattledawson.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Marketers love to say \u201ccontent is king\u201d.
